At 10:30 AM December 14, Sinotruk's 1,000th assembled HOWO tractor rolled off the line at the SKD general assembly workshop of Sinotruk Nigeria Limited.

During Chinese Premier Li Keqiang's visit to four African countries in May 2014, Sinotruk entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Nigeria's largest enterprise group-Dangote Group. According to the agreement, Sinotruk has established a general assembly plant, a cab welding and paint spraying line, and a special vehicle workshop in Nigeria, with an annual output of 10,000 units of light, medium and heavy-duty trucks and special vehicles.

Since going into operation, based on Sinotruk's technical advantages and taking Nigeria's local conditions into consideration, the joint venture has conducted careful deployment and led its employees in working hard. Up to now, the joint venture has achieved mass delivery of the assembled and adjusted vehicles to the local customers and fulfilled the annual target assigned by Sinotruk.
